Final details are currently being sorted out but it is happening.
Simply put, it's booze and food coupled with the sound of neighborhood kids lighting off fireworks. We then all walk to the beach for drinks outside Bostons. Soon after, we park ourselves on the sand where we'll hear Neil Diamond's "Coming To America", watch the rocket's red glare and bombs burst in the air.
But that's not all. Walking back to house, you'll experience smoke and that smell of gun power that rivals Baghdad and you may even be fired upon (silly Voodoo Street neighborhood kids). See if you can make it home in one piece.
I suggest bringing a blanket and/or folding chair (for the house and beach). If you wish to bring something, just call ahead to let us know so we can coordinate. The focus will be booze and grill food, perhaps a keg.
This party didn't make it into the Voodoo Street newsletter but that's because we were too late. Ah well...please RSVP after tonight (when the final details will be ironed out)...
